Balti, June 21, 2011 - The third session of the training program "Development of projects from EU and NFRD funds" held within the project "Capacity Development for Regional Development and Cross Border Cooperation in Moldova," began Tuesday, June 21, at Balti.
The training program is organized by the Northern Regional Development Agency (RDA North) with financial support of the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) and conducted by experts from the Regional Assistance and Information Center for NGOs CONTACT-Balti.
Attending the opening of the third session of the Program, ADR Director North, Ion Bodrug, spoke about the importance of holding this training program in the North, "The results of micro-regions, where such workshops and trainings will help project ideas to emerge. This means that in the North will have many ideas and concepts of project and I hope each participant will commit them to paper in a successful project for his/her district", said Director of ADR North.
Representatives of the Local Government I and II in Northern Moldova and Northern RDA employees attended the event. Guided by experts CONTACT-Balti, participants work in teams; project ideas were identified and analyzed specific aspects of the projects identified.
Third session of the program objectives were:
1. Increased knowledge and skills of participants on the description of strategy implementation and project activities, developing action plans, describing the methodology of implementation.
2. Developing the skills of participants on cooperation in groups and ensure transfer of experience.
Note that the planned seven sessions of the training program described. The first session (19-21 April) and the second session of the training program (24-26 May) took place in Balti, Soroca and Edinet. Third Session of the Program began Tuesday, June 21, in Balti, and will continue to Edinet (June 22) and Soroca (June 23 ). According to RDA North Director, Ion Bodrug training program will help strengthen the capacities of Moldovan regional development, the establishment of partnerships to identify and develop key projects for the region etc.
