Assistance for participants in the training

From September 6^th to 8^th, in the Northern Region, participants partook in the training program "Development funds projects NFRD and the EU", organized within the project "Capacity Development for Regional Development and Cross Border Cooperation in Moldova". Those participating were able to receive assistance in the development of project ideas.

During this period Stefan Elsing on working visit for EU programs visited the city of Balti and the districts of Edinet, Dochia and Soroca. Here he met with both beneficiaries as well as with experts from the Centre Contact-Balti. He discussed and reviewed 12 proposals for projects initiated in the training program. The other project ideas for EU programs, which were not consulted during this period, will receive assistance in October, when Stefan Elsing will return to a mission in Moldova.

It should be noted that the training program consists of seven sessions is organized by the Northern Regional Development Agency with financial support of the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) and conducted by experts from the Regional Centre for Assistance and Information for NGOs CONTACT- ponds, in order to improve the quality of regional and border cooperation.
