Edinet: The third session of the training program "Drafting of EU funds and NFRD"

A training program for local government level I and II in Northern Moldova, happened yesterday, June 21 in Balti and today June 22 in Edinet. It's training program "Development and EU projects NFRD funds" held within the project "Capacity Development for Regional Development and Cross Border Cooperation in Moldova."
The training program is organized by the Northern Regional Development Agency (RDA North) with financial support of the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) and conducted by experts from the Regional Assistance and Information Center for NGOs CONTACT-Balti.
Attending the opening of the third session of the Program, RDA Director North, Ion Bodrug referred to the importance of holding a training program mentioned above in the North. "I am happy to communicate that, compared with the other regions, we are the first to start training the sessions. I am happy about your eight project ideas. I think the shop today will polish the formulation of the project ideas and, of course, make them successful cross-border projects. I wish you success. I wish that the end result is one of a quality product for each of the districts they represent and the final product to emerge from the projects presented here", he said in his welcoming speech.
The event was attended by representatives of the Local Government I and II in Northern Moldova and Northern ADR employees. Guided by experts CONTACT-Balti, participants work in teams, project ideas were identified and analyzed specific aspects of the projects identified.
Third session of the program objectives were:
1. Increased knowledge and skills of participants on the description of strategy implementation and project activities, develop action plan, describing the methodology of implementation.
2. Developing the skills of participants on cooperation in groups and ensure transfer of experience.
Note that the planned seven sessions of the training program described. The first session (19-21 April) and the second session of the training program (24-26 May) took place in Balti, Soroca and Edinet. Third Session of the Program began Tuesday, June 21, in Balti, continues today, June 22 in Edinet and tomorrow, 23 June, in Soroca. According to ADR Director North, Ion Bodrug, training program will help strengthen the capacities of Moldovan regional development, the establishment of partnerships to identify and develop key projects for the region etc.
