Visit for documentation and monitoring of projects in Balti

A group of specialists from the Northern Regional Development Agency (RDA North) paid a visit to the Free Economic Zone "Balti" (FEZ "Balti"). Here the soon to be launched project "Connecting FEZ" Balti" to municipal utilities: water, sewage, electricity, access roads."

During the visit, representatives of the RDA North documented standing of the implementation of subprojects' "construction of the aqueduct" and "municipal road reconstruction Dovator Street."

Applicant project managed by RDA North is the City of Balti. The overall objective is to provide infrastructure to connect FEZ "Balti" all utilities: water, sewage, electricity, roads. The total project is 16,575,515 lei, of which 13,621,660 lei is from the National Regional Development Fund (86% of total project). Duration of the project is 6 months. Co-financers of the project are Balti (1,363,734 lei), ICS 'Automotive Draexlmaier "SRL (1,550,121 lei) and FEZ" Balti "(40,000 lei).

As a result of implementation of the said draft, FEZ "Balti" will be connected to municipal utilities: water, sewage, electricity and access roads also in this region the project will enhance the quality of life by creating about 2500 new jobs.
