An Investment of 20 million Euros in "Edineț" Industrial Park

Edineț, October 9, 2013. On the occasion of the Days of the Northern Development Region (NDR), the cornerstone was laid Industrial Park "Edineț" the sixth industrial park created in Moldova.  Within these days, the industrial park will begin construction of a plant producing apple juice concentrate that will run on bio-fuel.

Representatives of the group of companies "T.B. Fruit" and presented investment project worth 20 million Euros. Thus, with the factory operation to be built will create hundreds of jobs, including farmers in the agricultural season next year.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Valeriu Lazar assured Ukrainian investors from of government support and swift implementation of this important investment project. "If you give the entrepreneurs freedom and you can create an environment with great potential for the people", said Deputy Prime Minister Valeriu Lazar.

North Regional Development Agency Director, Ion Bodrug, says that the release for the occasion North Development Region Industrial Park "Edineț" further underlines the importance of this important regional investment projects. Against this background, RDA North Director referred to regional development project "Connecting industrial Park Edineț to infrastructure and access public utilities", worth over 9 million, to be implemented from the National Regional Development Fund resources. The construction project within the industrial park infrastructure includes: roads, water supply and sewage etc.

"So we see the formula for success: to create a business environment favorable to invest in infrastructure and invest in people, and giving people means to investing in modernizing its education system on all levels - from pre-school to higher education institutions", revealed in the Days of the RDN, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy, Valeriu Lazar.

Industrial Park "Edineț" will be located on a land area of ”‹”‹about 18 hectares. Through local council decisions, the field was submitted into service for a period of 30 years. Here will be a factory for the production of fruit juices and vegetables. The company "TB Fruit" intends to enter into contracts with over 100 local producers for the purchase of raw materials.
