We are primarily looking for SME applicants with strong commitment to drive sustainable development!

Prospective organisations are invited to apply for either a Demonstration grant or a Planning grant under the "Demo Environment Programme" from 7 August 2018.

Proposals will be accepted on a rolling basis until deadlines (or until all programme funds have been used). Applications will specifically be collected and evaluated on few fixed dates.

Applying for Planning grant

Applications for Planning grants will follow a one-step procedure, which means that applicants should submit only a "Full Application".

Applications will be reviewed and screened on a rolling basis and specifically on 4 fixed evaluation dates. All necessary details on how to apply for a Planning grant is available under "Grants for Planning activities" below.

  • Last chance to apply for a Planning grant is 15 March 2019

Applying for Demonstration grant

Applications for Demonstration grants will follow a two-step procedure. In Stage 1: applicants have the option to submit a "Concept Note" and in Stage 2: a "Full Application", only if they are pre-selected in Stage 1 and invited to proceed to Stage 2. This is our recommended application process for Demonstration grants. However, applicants who prefer to submit a Full Application directly are welcome to do so.

Applications will be reviewed and screened on a rolling basis and specifically on 2 fixed evaluation dates for Concept Notes and 2 fixed evaluation dates for Full Applications. All necessary details on how to apply for a Demonstration grant is available under "Grants for Demonstration projects" below.

  • Last chance to apply for a Demonstration grant is 21 October 2018

The sooner the better

The fixed evaluation dates mentioned above have been established to guide applicants on when submitted applications will be specifically collected and evaluated. Considering the limited funds that are available in the programme and that this programme period will permanently close on 31 December 2019, we highly recommend applicants to submit project ideas as early as possible - before or at the fixed evaluation dates listed under each grant below.

Notes

  • Applications will not be accepted after the final application dates (or after all program resources have been used) and project costs incurred after 31 December 2019 will not be reimbursed.
  • If you need to edit your original application, please do not submit a new version of your application. Contact demoenvironment@tillvaxtverket.se to submit and inform about the edits you would like to make.

Grants for Demonstrations Projects

Last chance to apply for a Demonstration grant is 21 October 2018

A two-step application process for Demonstration grants

Stage 1: Concept Note

A concept note is a less detailed application, which limits the workload that is associated with a full application process and that will allow applicants to present project ideas more easily.

As a first step, applicants for Demonstration projects are recommended to submit a concept note and present a shorter version of their project proposals. Proposals will be reviewed and screened on a rolling basis and specifically on the fixed evaluation dates for concept notes, as listed below. Only applicants with the best ranked concept notes will be invited to submit a fully-pledged project application and proceed to stage 2. Applicants who will not proceed to stage 2 will receive a rejection notice.

Please be advised that submission of a full application does not mean a guarantee for a grant approval.

Stage 2: Full Application

As a second step, a full version of the project proposals from applicants whose concept notes have been pre-selected in stage 1 will be reviewed and screened specifically on the fixed evaluation dates below. A full application for Demonstration projects includes submitting more detailed project information as well as several mandatory appendices and enclosures.

This is our recommended application process for Demonstration grants. However, applicants who prefer to submit a Full Application directly are welcome to do so.

After the full application review is completed, project ideas considered as most interesting will be invited to a Skype meeting with our panel. Final decisions will be communicated within a maximum of 90 days from receipt of the application.
