RDA North participated in the Partnership Forum: The Joint Operational Program Romania-Ukraine-Moldova 2007-2013

The Partnership Forum: The Joint Operational Program Romania-Ukraine-Moldova 2007-2013, which was organized by the Managing Authority and Joint Technical Secretariat. It shall take place Friday, June 3, Chisinau. The forum, which took part with representatives of the Northern Development Agency (RDA North), which brought together participants from all three countries involved in the program.

The Partnership Forum was organized to facilitate the identification of partnerships between organizations in the areas eligible for the program. This was within the context of the next call for proposals within the Joint Operational Program Romania-Ukraine-Moldova 2007-2013.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Republic of Moldova and E.S. Marius Lazurca participated in the Forum. E.S. Marius Lazurca noted the importance of regional Neighborhood programs.

The Joint Operational Program Romania-Ukraine-Moldova 2007-2013, whose total budget is 137.4 million Euros, will secure borders and boost the development potential of the border area. This will be done by encouraging contacts between partners on both sides of the border, in order to improve the social and economic environment.

Information events in the Vicinity Program

We note that several informational events in the Neighborhood Program will take place early next week. Thus, the second call in the Black Sea Basin Joint Operational Program 2007-2013 will be launched on June 6, 2011 in Chisinau. In this context, with the support of "regional capacity building initiative," funded by the European Union, will organize events that will focus on detailed information of all eligible institutions for implementing the package.

Information events will be held in Chisinau (Summit Conference Center Events and Bender Street 49 / 3), on 6 June 2011, and in Cahul (Shopping Sorina Mihai Eminescu street no. 18) on June 7, 2011.
